Review

To start, I rate this game a 6 out of 10.

This game has much potential. I enjoyed it and played for a solid 70 hours before I grew tired of it and needed a break. In this time I am creating this web page and review. It however, is full of spelling and grammatical errors on top of game bugs and difficult controls.

The weapon array is vast and the space to carry items is large. Buying and finding items and weapons is enjoyable. Advancing and building up your stats is one of the fun things about this game. You may use up to 6 mercenaries at a time.

The large amount of weapons enhances the strategy aspect of this game. You may employ any number of guerrilla tactics using mines, grenades, smoke bombs, and a number of manual or automatic weapons.

There are many characters in this game, each with their own unique personality. Each town also comes with a history told inside the game.

While typing out all the text which describe the weapons and the towns I obtained an intimate knowledge of all the spelling and grammar errors the game has. There are probably many reasons for this such as poor collaboration of texts written by multiple people, barriers such as having English as a second or third language, and fast game output with no interest in monitoring for such errors. In any case they did not put any effort into proofreading.

There are also a number of in game bugs that can spoil missions. Saving often is a must.

The controls in this game are difficult and confusing at first. The tutorial lacks proper instruction and I spent about 4 hours trying to figure it out as it won’t let you progress if you don’t complete a task which it fails to tell you to do.

Although this game is really fun at first, it lacks the ability to keep a player’s interest. I only spent about 70 hours playing this game which may seem plenty at first, but compare it to about 10,000 hours I spent playing the entire Resident Evil series. I played the Resident Evil series for countless hours mastering, and then playing over and over again for pure enjoyment of the game.

This game is worth buying only if you possess the patience to figure it out along with the love of this type of game play.
